Playerunknown's Battlegrounds
Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, or PUBG for short is a open world battle royale game, where you and a bunch of other players are dropped in a map and have to be the last one standing. There are many towns in the map where you can get guns, cars, and other gear. This game is exclusive to PC, but will be getting an xbox port eventually.
Splatoon 2
Splatoon 2 is a third-person shooter exclusive to Nintendo Switch, where you have to shoot ink at the ground using a selection of different weapons. You can also turn into a squid to swim quickly through ink from your team. If you are in enemy ink, you move slowly and take damage. There are lots of gamemodes, weapons, and gear to choose from so when you join a lobby, no two people will look alike.
Rust
Rust is an online survival game where you have to survive against animals, hunger, the weather, and other players. When you leave a server your character is wherever you left, but they are sleeping so you have to build a base to keep other players from taking your things. Once you have a solid base, you can try to raid other people and take their items. This one is also fun to play with friends if you meat up in the game and survive together.
