Splatoon 2 is a fun game for the Nintendo Switch.
Competitive Multiplayer
In the game mode Turf war you and 3 other players play online against a team of 4 where your goal is to cover more of the map than the other team in your team's colored ink. Ranked battles have three diffrent game modes that cycle every two hours. One game mode is Rainmaker, where there is an ink gun in the middle of the map, and your team has to take it to the other team's spawn before they take it to yours. Another mode is Tower Control, where there is a tower in the middle of the map, and your team has to make it move to the other side of the map before the other team does. The final mode is Splat Zones, where there is a zone in the middle of the map, and you have to control that zone for longer than the enemy team.
Cooprative Multiplayer
Splatoon 2 has a new game mode called Salmon Run. In Salmon Run, you are on a small island with three other players, and you have to defend against salmons that run towards you. Every minute or so, a boss salmon appears and you have to defeat it so you can take its eggs to a container in the center. your team is randomly assigned weapons at the start of every round, so its a great way to get used to the game and the different classes it offers.
